Shipping Policy
Everything you need to know about how we process, pack, and deliver your Hex Recon hardware.

At this time, Hex Recon ships within New Zealand only. We do not offer international shipping. All prices are in NZD and inclusive of GST.
1. Order Processing Times
All orders are manually reviewed before dispatch to verify purchase compliance with our Terms of Service. Processing times are as follows:
Standard Products
GateKeeper M1, GateKeeper M2, and GhostKey Nano orders are typically processed within 2–5 business days of payment confirmation.
Limited-Run & Auction Hardware
Prototype and custom hardware won at auction may require additional lead time for final assembly and quality inspection. Expected timelines will be communicated in the auction listing and confirmed at the time of purchase.
Pre-Orders
Where a product is listed as a pre-order, the estimated dispatch date will be shown on the product page. We will notify you of any significant changes to this date.
2. Carriers & Delivery Timeframes
We ship via New Zealand Post or a courier provider (CourierPost or equivalent). Once dispatched, estimated delivery times are:
Major Cities (Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch)
1–3 business days
Regional New Zealand
2–5 business days
Rural Addresses
3–7 business days
Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to carrier delays, public holidays, or adverse weather. Hex Recon is not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers once an item has been dispatched.
3. Order Tracking
A tracking number will be sent to your registered email address once your order has been dispatched. You can use this number to track your parcel on the carrier's website. If you have not received a dispatch confirmation within 5 business days of your order confirmation, please contact us at [email protected].
4. Pricing & GST
All product prices displayed on the Hex Recon website are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the current rate of 15%. Shipping costs are calculated based on your delivery address and the weight of your order, and are displayed at checkout before payment is taken. No hidden fees will be added after checkout.
5. Packaging
All Hex Recon hardware ships in tamper-evident, product-specific packaging. The GhostKey Nano is shipped in sealed packaging confirming the device has not been pre-loaded with any payloads — consistent with our legal distribution strategy under the Crimes Act 1961. Please inspect your packaging on arrival. If the tamper seal appears compromised, contact us before using the device.
6. Delivery Address Accuracy
Please ensure your delivery address is correct at the time of ordering. Hex Recon is not responsible for failed deliveries or returned parcels resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we will contact you and re-dispatch at an additional shipping cost.
7. Lost or Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives damaged or is confirmed lost by the carrier, please contact us at [email protected] within 7 days of the expected delivery date. We will lodge a claim with the carrier and arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with our Refund Policy and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
